PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

Octopus Protected VCT plc announces that on 28 November 2007 the
Company purchased for cancellation 50,482 Ordinary Shares of 10p each
at a price of 94.5p per share.

The issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company is
now 27,336,444 Ordinary Shares.
