PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Octopus Apollo VCT 3 plc announces that on 20 October 2011 the Company purchased
for cancellation 56,460 shares of 10p each at a price of 79.2p per share.

The issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company is now
27,031,023.
