PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Octopus Apollo VCT 3 plc announces that on 23 December 2011 the Company
purchased for cancellation 89,835 shares of 10p each at a price of 79.5p per
share.

The issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company is now
26,845,668.
