Investment in Crowdcube Limited ("Crowdcube")

The Board of Numis announces that, effective 30 July 2015, Numis acquired 8.49 per cent of the issued share capital of Crowdcube, the pioneering investment crowd funding platform.

Crowdcube has amassed a 200,000 strong investor community and raised almost £100m of investment through its platform since its launch in 2011.

The Board of Numis believes that Crowdcube has created an impressive business model and technology platform which makes it possible for investors to join together to finance growth businesses.  The investment provides a rare opportunity for Numis to work with Crowdcube to enable high growth businesses that are going public to access individual investors and institutions.

Upon completion of the transaction, Numis will have representation on the board of Crowdcube.
