                        NUMIS CORPORATION PLC ('NUMIS')
                     GRANT OF OPTIONS OVER EXISITNG SHARES



The Board of Numis announces that it has, today, granted options over 115,000
Numis ordinary shares held in the Numis Employee Share Trust.  This represents
0.75 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of Numis.  These options are
exercisable at a subscription price of 215p after 12 February 2005 but before 12
February 2012.



The ordinary shares referred to in this announcement are the ordinary shares of
25p each in Numis Corporation Plc.
