Exercise of Options


The Board of Numis announces that, on 12th December 2006, it approved the issue
and allotment of 71,000 (0.07%) Numis shares following the exercise of options
under the Numis Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme.

The exercise of the aforementioned options over Numis ordinary shares will be
funded from existing Numis shares held by the Numis Corporation Plc Employee
Benefit Trust ('the EBT'). The Numis shares will rank pari passu with all
existing Numis shares.


The Numis shares referred to above are Numis' ordinary shares of 5p each and the
total number of shares in issue following the above is 105,902,506.
