Exercise of Options - Correction


This announcement replaces the announcement released by Numis at 7.01 a.m. on
Wednesday 15 March 2006 under RNS No 8104Z that included an incorrect reference
to the total number of Numis shares in issue. The correct number of the Numis
shares in issue is 105,902,506. The full text of the corrected announcement is
set out below.

Exercise of Options


The Board of Numis announces that, on 14 March 2006, it approved the issue and
allotment of 25,000 (0.024%) Numis shares following the exercise of options
under the Numis Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme ('the Scheme').

The new Numis shares will rank pari passu with all existing Numis shares.
Application will be made for admission of the new Numis shares to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and dealings are
expected to commence on 21 March 2006.


The Numis shares referred to above are Numis' ordinary shares of 5p each and the
total number of shares in issue following the above is 105,902,506.
