Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman

Raphael Zorn Hemsley Holdings PLC ('RZHH') is pleased to announce the
appointment of David Craig as Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 29
September 1999.  David replaces Michael Rosenberg, Executive Director and
Chairman who retired from the Company on 29 September 1999 to concentrate on
his private business interests.

David John Alastair Craig, aged 51, has more than 30 years' experience in
international capital markets.  He co-founded J P Morgan Securities in London
in 1979 and was Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Capital Markets there until
1983.  Between 1983 and 1992, he was Chief Executive of IFM Asset Management,
a venture capital fund founded by him and backed by sixteen European
investors. He also founded and, between 1984 and 1992, was a Director of
Household Mortgage Corporation which was sold in 1992 to Abbey National.

David Craig has been a Director of Savills plc since 1996.  He also advises
and is a director of Rand Merchant Bank and FirstRand Limited in Johannesburg.
  He has recently co-founded and is Chief Executive of two internet companies,
OperadiO.com Limited and ukphonebook.com Limited.  David is employed by
Culross Global Management.  A full list of David Craig's Directorships and
partnership interests currently held and those held over the last five years
are set out below.

There is no other pertinent information on David Craig that is required to be
disclosed pursuant to Rule 16.8(c) of the AIM Rules.
