Exercise of Options

The Board of Numis announces that, on 26 June 2006, it approved the issue and
allotment of 50,000 (0.047%) Numis shares following the exercise of options
under the Numis Approved Executive Share Option Scheme ('the Scheme').

The exercise of the aforementioned options over Numis ordinary shares will be
funded from existing Numis shares held by the Numis Corporation Employee Benefit
Trust ('EBT'). The Numis shares will rank pari passu with all existing Numis
shares.

The Numis shares referred to above are Numis' ordinary shares of 5p each and the
total number of shares in issue following the above is 105,902,506.
