Additional Listing



The board of Numis announces that, on 13 July 2001, it approved the issue and
allotment of 100,000 (0.66%) ordinary shares in Numis.  This follows an
exercise of 100,000 share options at an exercise price of 105p per share.
These shares will rank pari passu with all existing ordinary shares.



Application for the admission of these ordinary shares to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange plc has been made
and dealings are expected to commence on Friday 20 July 2001.



The shareholdings referred to are Numis's ordinary share capital of 25p per
share.  The total number of shares in issue following these transactions is
15,272,000.
