Additional Listing



The Board of Numis announces that, on 21 March 2001, it approved the issue and
allotment of 5,000 (0.03%) ordinary shares in Numis to one former employee.
This follows the exercise of 5,000 share options at an exercise price of 105p
per share.  These shares will rank pari passu with all existing ordinary
shares.



Application for the admission of these ordinary shares to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange has been made and
dealings are expected to commence on Thursday 29 March 2001.



The shareholdings referred to is Numis' ordinary share capital of 25p per
share.  The total number of shares in issue following this transaction is
15,147,000.
