REDUCTION OF SHARE PREMIUM ACCOUNT

Northern 3 VCT PLC (the 'Company') announces that the share premium account
reduction of £15,000,000 approved by the shareholders at the annual general
meeting held on 4 April 2007 has been confirmed by the Court and became
effective on 8 June 2007.
