NORTHERN 3 VCT PLC

PORTFOLIO UPDATE

Further to the announcement made on 17 December 2013, Northern 3 VCT PLC ("Northern 3 VCT") confirms that the sale of its investment in Denara Holdings Limited ("Denara") to Nasstar plc ("Nasstar") was duly completed on 10 January 2014.

Northern 3 VCT has received total consideration of £0.80 million for its holding of ordinary shares in Denara, comprising £0.60 million in cash and 4,028,262 new ordinary shares of 1p in Nasstar with a value (at the deemed issue price of 5p per share) of £0.20 million.
