SHARE BUY-BACK

The Company bought back for cancellation on 20 June 2000 a total of 33,905
ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, representing 0.14 per cent. of the
issued share capital of the Company.  The shares were bought in at a price of
92p per share.  The buy-back was carried out under the authority granted to
the Board by the Company's shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on
27 April 2000.
