North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC ("the Company")

North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC has applied for the admission to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority for 507,025 Ordinary Shares of 5p each issued by the Company in relation to the conversion of 507,025 units of Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 on 28 June 2010.

Admission of the new securities is expected to be effective on 13 July 2010.

The current issued share capital following the announcement of the cancellation of 1,139,000 shares on 6 July 2010 is 13,785,227 Ordinary shares. Upon admission of the new securities, the new issued share capital will be 14,292,252 Ordinary shares with voting rights.

The above figure (14,292,252) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
