                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC

On 6 September 2007 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 10,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 580.0 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 67,662,242 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
