Transaction in Own Shares

EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC


On 24 November 2004, Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 125,000 ordinary
shares  for cancellation at an average price of 482 pence per share.   Following
the buy back, there are 84,931,164 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
