                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC

On 16 June 2006 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 73,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 544.28 pence per share.
Following the buy back, there are 76,737,164 ordinary shares in issue.  The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
