                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC

On 22 May 2006 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 323,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 539.965 pence per share.
Following the buy back, there are 77,502,164 ordinary shares in issue.  The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
