                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC


On 29 October 2007 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 16,500 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 590 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 67,212,742 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
