                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC


On 24 July 2007 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 40,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 594 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 68,008,242 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
