                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC





On 10 January 2007 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 25,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 587 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 72,680,242 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
