On 5 January 2007 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 35,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 588 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 72,705,242 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.



Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Edinburgh US Tracker is
72,705,242.



The above figure (72,705,242) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Edinburgh US Tracker under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
