                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC

On 6 April 2006 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 330,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 587.54 pence per share.
Following the buy back, there are 80,147,664 ordinary shares in issue.  The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
