               BOARD APPOINTMENT AT EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC


The  board  of Edinburgh US Tracker Trust is pleased to announce the appointment
of  Guy  Crawford as a non-executive director of the company with effect from  8
March 2004.

Guy  Crawford, who is 62, has over 30 years experience of investment management.
He  has worked for Scottish United Investors, Dunedin Fund Managers, Clan  Asset
Management  and  for  the  last 8 years he was a senior investment  manager  for
Caledonia Investments plc.

There are no details on Mr Crawford which require to be disclosed in relation to
paragraph 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.

Mr Crawford has held the following directorships within the past 5 years:

Intercorr Holdings (resigned Feb 2004)
APM Residents Ltd (resigned Jan 2004)
