                         EDINBURGH US TRACKER TRUST PLC


On 10 July 2006 Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc bought back 40,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at an average price of 555.8 pence per share.  Following
the buy back, there are 76,410,664 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back
will be financed out of the capital reserve.
