The following change in the shareholding of Mr S P Nichols which occurred on 18
May 2004 has been notified to the company today.

As the result of a distribution from a discretionary trust of which Mr Nichols
is trustee and his infant children are beneficiaries, 25,950 shares are now not
either beneficial or non-beneficial holdings.

The total of Mr Nichols' holdings, comprising shares in his own and spouse's
name and shares held in trusts of which he is trustee and his infant children
are beneficiaries, are now 1,752,800 10p ordinary shares amounting to 4.74% of
the issued share capital.
