                               Board Announcement

Further to the announcement made earlier today by Inter Link Foods plc, Brendan
Hynes the Finance Director of Nichols plc, has informed the Board of Nichols
that he has decided not to take up the appointment with Inter Link, as
previously announced on the 14 December 2006.  He will therefore remain with
Nichols.

Nichols PLC also announced on the 19 March 2007 that it was in preliminary
discussions regarding the possibility of an offer for the entire issued and to
be issued share capital of the Company.   These discussions continue.
