Purchase of own shares

Next PLC announces that it has today purchased for cancellation the following
Ordinary shares of 10p each:
570,000 at 846p per share
1,100,000 at 844p per share
325,000 at 840p per share
*A Private Investor is a recipient of the information who meets all of the conditions set out below, the recipient:
Obtains access to the information in a personal capacity;
Is not required to be regulated or supervised by a body concerned with the regulation or supervision of investment or financial services;
