The issuer has made the following amendment to the 'Purchase of Own Securities'
announcement released today at 16.55 under RNS No 1372K.

The amount of shares that were purchased for cancellation should have read
'2,550,000' at a price of 510.5p and not '1,550,000 at a price of 510.5p' as
previously shown. 

All other details remain unchanged.
