by the Company from Morgan Stanley Securities Limited that, as at 21 November
2006, they held 6,837,601 Ordinary Shares of 10p each of Next plc which
represents 3.01% of the issued share capital.

A second notification of disclosable interests dated 27 November 2006 has also
been received by the Company from Morgan Stanley Securities Limited that they no
longer have a notifiable interest in Ordinary Shares of 10p each of Next plc.
