Disclosure of Interest in shares - Part VI Companies Act 1985
A notification of disclosable interests dated 19 February has today been
received by the Company from Legal & General Investment Management in that as of
14 February 2001 they hold 10,371,357 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in various
HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Ltd accounts which represents 3.07% of the
issued share capital of Next plc.
