Transfer of Shares

NewRiver announces that on 18 March 2013 the Company was informed that, David Lockhart, Chief Executive, transferred 160,000 ordinary shares from a personal holding to his SIPP at 207.5p per share on the same day. In addition, Mr Lockhart has today transferred 4,000 ordinary shares from his SIPP and 6,000 ordinary shares from a personal holding to a family trust both at 207.5p per share.

Mr Lockhart's beneficial interest in NewRiver is unchanged by these transfers.
