Allotment of shares

The Board is pleased to announce that 3,157,500 and 3,889,254 ordinary shares of
1 pence each were allotted on 30 September 2002 and 7 October 2002,
respectively.  These shares have been allotted to Vema N.V. GDR holders in
relation to the all share offer by Newmark.

Application has been made for the admission of the 7,046,754 ordinary shares to
the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange plc.
