Director's Shareholding

In accordance with Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended, the
Company has been notified that on 20 August 2002 Alexander Reid, a Non-Executive
Director, purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the
Company for 2.0625p per share. Alexander Reid is now beneficially interested in
27,608,238 ordinary shares representing 22.8 per cent. of the issued share
capital.
