APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board is pleased to announce that as previously
notified on 1 March 2001, Michel Rapoport was appointed a
non-executive director of Newmark Technology Group PLC on 22
March 2001.  Michel Rapoport has an interest in 1,000,000
ordinary shares in the capital of the Company, representing
0.83 per cent. of the issued share capital.
