AGM Statement

Newmark Security PLC 18 November 2004 Newmark Security plc (the 'Company') Results of AGM and Trading Update At the Company's annual general meeting ('AGM') held today, all resolutions proposed were duly passed. The following statement was read out at the AGM by Maurice Dwek, Chairman of the Company: 'The interim results for the 6 months to 31st October 2004 will be announced in January and will include Custom Micro Products for 4 months. I said in my Chairman's Statement that the operating profit for the first 6 months should be comfortably ahead of the corresponding period last year and the outlook for the full year is most encouraging. At the current time, I would estimate that profit before interest, tax and goodwill amortisation for the 6 months should be not less than £450,000, which compares with the profit on continuing operations last year of £132,000 and after including discontinued operations, showed a loss of £183,000. The level of orders and enquiries remains healthy and I would, therefore, reconfirm that the outlook for the full year remains encouraging.'
