                          AGM Statement and Re Broker

At the Company's Annual General Meeting today, all resolutions proposed were
passed.

At the AGM, the Chairman made the following statement:

'In the first six months of this financial year, Grosvenor and Safetell have
continued to perform ahead of plan. Newmark security products continues to be
loss making but should receive a significantly higher level of orders in the
final quarter of this year.

Following the disposal of Drion as announced in the report and accounts, the six
month figures due to be announced in January will show for continuing operations
an operating profit before exceptional items and goodwill amortisation.'

The Company also confirms that it has appointed Seymour Pierce Ellis Limited as
its Broker.
