New Star Investment Trust announces that application has been made to the United
Kingdom Listing Authority for admission to the Official List of 3,103,706,480
Neptune Pool shares which have been issued to holders of Neptune Pool shares by
way of a bonus issue, as described in the Circular to Shareholders dated 12 July
2002. Application has also been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission
of these shares, to trading on its market for listed securities.
