NETCALL PLC (the 'Company')

NOTIFIABLE INTEREST

The Company was notified on 8 December 2000 that as a result of the recent
placing of new ordinary shares in the Company, Friends Ivory and Sime plc
became interested in a further 1,428,570 ordinary shares of 5p each in the
share capital of the Company on 5 December 2000, taking its interest in the
Company to 4,545,242 ordinary shares, representing 12.67 per cent. of that
class of capital. Such interest includes the material interest of The AIM
Trust plc, a client of Ivory & Sime plc, which is interested in 2,471,037
ordinary shares (representing 6.89 per cent.), The AIM VCT plc, a client of
Ivory & Sime plc, which is interested in 1,074,205 ordinary shares
(representing 3.00 per cent.) and of Citifriends Nominees Ltd, a client of
Friends Provident Unit Managers, who is interested in 1,000,000 ordinary
shares (representing 2.79 per cent.).
