DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company was yesterday notified that Roger Allsop sold 100,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on 22 December 2000 at a price of 73p per share. Mr
Allsop is now interested in 415,638 ordinary shares representing 1.15 per
cent. of that class of capital.
