Netcall PLC 6 March 2001 NETCALL PLC ('Netcall' or 'the Company') BOARD CHANGES Netcall today announces the appointment Peter Warry and Brian Gowers as non-executive Directors. The Board of Netcall is delighted to announce that it has appointed Peter Warry (51) as non-executive Director and Deputy Chairman, and Brian Gowers (57) as non-executive Director, both with effect from 6 March. Mr Warry has had a distinguished executive career with British Energy, where he was CEO of Nuclear Electric plc, Norcros and Plessey. Peter has extensive commercial experience in a variety of industrial and regulatory environments; his current non-executive appointments include the Chairmanship of Victrex plc, a specialty chemicals company. He holds a double first from Oxford and is a Chartered Management Accountant and a Chartered Engineer. Mr Gowers, a former President and Managing Director of Cogent, joins Netcall following a 14 year career at Nortel Networks (and STC). At Cogent, Brian built a profitable £100 million turnover business, employing 700 people and providing telecommunications consulting, integration and outsourcing services to blue chip clients worldwide. His current non-executive appointments include the Chairmanships of two privately owned telecoms companies. He holds a first class degree in aeronautical engineering from Salford University. Netcall also announces that Stephen Corkin has resigned from the Board with immediate effect but will continue as Marketing Director of Netcall Telecom Limited, Netcall's chief operating subsidiary. Steve wishes to focus all of his efforts on the marketing activities of Netcall Telecom.
