NMT announces that it was notified on 30th January 2006 that The Union Discount
Company of London Limited ('Union') purchased 25,000 shares in the company. 
Following this transaction, Union has a notifiable interest in 275,000 ordinary
shares in NMT, representing 3.16% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
company.  Union is a company wholly-owned by Mr Peter Gyllenhammar.
