NMT Group Plc received a notification on the 5 September 2001 from Friends
Ivory & Sime plc on behalf of its clients, informing it that as a result of a
sale of 1,000,000 shares on the 4 September 2001, it's client's now have a
material interest in 21,191,968 shares representing 9.90% of the Company's
issued share capital.
