NMT Group PLC received notification, from Friends Ivory & Sime plc, informing
them that following the Placing of 20,409,322 ordinary shares on 20 July 2000,
the AIM Trust Plc (a client of theirs) has a material interest of 23,046,933
ordinary Shares, representing 9.84 per cent. of the Company's Ordinary Share
Capital.
