The Company received notification today 25th July 2000, from Phillips and Drew,
on behalf of Philips and Drew Life Limited, which is a subsidiary of UBS Asset
Management Holding (No. 2) Limited, that they have a notifiable interest in
13,190,353 ordinary shares of 5p each, representing 5.63 per cent of the issued
share capital of the Company.
