Appointment of Director

The Board of NMT is pleased to announce the appointment of George Wardale as a
Non-executive Director. George, 66, is currently a director of Baltimore plc.
Prior to this he spent 11 years at Lonrho plc specialising in turnarounds,
acquisitions and disposals and 20 years as either Chairman or a Non-executive
director of a wide range of public and private companies.

There are no further details to be disclosed as per Rule 17 of the AIM Rules,
Schedule Two, paragraph (g).
