                                  BOARD CHANGE


NMT Group PLC ('the Company') announces that Mr J Brian H Scanlon, a
non-executive director, has today resigned from the Company, due to his
increasing commitments in North America.  Mr Scanlon has taken up a post with
Hewitt Associates LLC of Houston, Texas, with effect from January 2002.



Roger Gilmour, Chairman of the Company, said 'Brian has been involved with NMT
since its inception in 1994 and has made a significant contribution as both an
executive and, since 1996, non-executive director.  I wish him well in the
demanding environment of business practice development in the USA and thank him
for his support and counsel over the years'.
