NMT Group PLC Additional Listing

NMT Group PLC (the 'Company')

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission to the
Alternative Investment Market ('AIM') of 500 ordinary shares of 4p each.

These shares, which rank parri passu in all respects with the existing shares in
issue, have been allotted pursuant to the exercise of options granted under The
NMT Group Unapproved Share Option Scheme.

It is expected that dealing will commence on or after Thursday 15 August 2002.
