Issue of Equity - Replacement Announcement 

This announcement replaces RNS number 3848T, made at 07:00 on 6 December 2011. The full text of the replacement announcement is stated below.

6 December 2011

The Company announces that application has been made for 710,833 Sterling shares and 91,565 US Dollar Shares ("Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the FSA and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.  It is expected that these Shares will be admitted on 9 December 2011.  The application has been made pursuant to the scrip dividend alternative in lieu of cash declared on 12 October 2011. 

Following this issue of shares, the total number of Sterling shares in issue is 235,224,040 and the total number of US Dollar shares in issue is 138,173,155.  Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 514,531,619 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
